The Gipson Play Plaza is a landmark playspace in the heart of Raleigh, designed through extensive community input to reflect the city’s growth and commitment to inclusive, nature-based play for all ages and abilities. Inspired by North Carolina’s history and craftsmanship, the plaza features large wooden towers, water play elements modeled after a historic millhouse, climbing structures, slides, and sensory-friendly zones.
